Law No. (6) of 2021 Amending Law No. (9) of 2010 Concerning Banks
President Mahmoud Abbas issued this Law Decree to amend Article 32 of the 2010 Banks Law, granting the Palestinian Monetary Authority explicit authority to disclose, declare, and exchange information concerning bank customers under the automated check return system. The amendment establishes a mandatory information-sharing framework among banks, credit institutions, and other Monetary Authority-approved entities pursuant to council-issued instructions. All inconsistent provisions are repealed, and the decree takes effect upon publication in the Official Gazette.
