CSSF Circular 21/782: Adoption of Revised EBA Guidelines on Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Risk Factors

The Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) issued Circular 21/782 to formally adopt the European Banking Authority's revised guidelines on money laundering and terrorist financing risk factors. This regulatory action requires financial sector entities to align their internal risk assessment procedures with the updated standards established by the EBA. The circular serves as the foundational adoption notice, which is subsequently complemented by later updates such as Circulars 23/842 and 25/878.
