Circular No. 225: Financial Data for Banks Submitted to the Monetary Authority

The Palestine Monetary Authority requires all banks operating in Palestine to maintain the current submission mechanism for financial data reports until December 31, 2020. After this date, banks must discontinue filing reports prepared under the Basel I requirements template, with the change taking effect at the start of the following year. This directive ensures a structured transition for all Call Reports currently submitted under Basel I, II, and III frameworks.

Subject: Financial Data for Banks (Call Reports) Submitted to the Monetary Authority

With reference to the financial data reports submitted to the Monetary Authority (Call Reports) prepared according to the Basel I requirements template, and financial data reports prepared according to the Basel II and III requirements templates. All banks are requested to continue using the current mechanism for submitting all financial reports until the reporting date of December 31, 2020, after which the submission of financial data prepared according to the Basel I template will cease, effective from the beginning of the coming year.
