DFIM Circular Letter No. 11: Finance Companies to Remain Open/Closed During Eid-Ul-Adha 2026

The Bangladesh Bank’s Department of Financial Institutions Management (DFIM) has issued Circular Letter No. 11 directing all scheduled banks in Bangladesh to adjust their operating hours for the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha holiday in 2026. Banks are required to remain open from Monday, August 25, 2026 through Saturday, August 31, 2026, while observing closures on Sunday, August 23, and Monday, August 24, 2026. This directive is issued under Section 41(2)(N) of the Bangladesh Bank Order, 2023, to standardize banking operations during the festive period.
