Announcement on the Issuance into Circulation of Additional 1 Convertible Mark Coins Minted in 2006

CENTRAL BANK OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

ANNOUNCEMENT

on the issuance into circulation of additional 1 Convertible Mark coins minted in 2006.

In accordance with the Decision of the Board of Governors ref. no.: 141/05 dated October 31, 2005, and the Decision of the Board of Governors ref. no.: 215/06 dated July 26, 2006, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina has minted additional quantities of 1 Convertible Mark coins (hereinafter: KM).

This coinage possesses the basic features and technical characteristics fully established by the Decision on the issuance, basic features, and putting into circulation of 1 and 2 Convertible Mark coins, Board of Governors ref. no.: 12/00 dated June 23 and 28, 2000 ("Official Gazette of BiH", no.: 20/00) and the Decision on the issuance, basic features, and putting into circulation of additional quantities of coins in the denomination of 1 KM, Board of Governors ref. no.: 32/02 dated May 8, 2002 ("Official Gazette of BiH", no.: 11/02), with the exception that the reverse side of the 1 KM denomination features the numerical marking "2006" which indicates the year in which the additional quantities of this denomination were minted.

Starting from September 8, 2006, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina will, through the central office, main units, and branches, put the aforementioned coinage into circulation as legal tender in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Notice regarding the issuance into circulation of additional 1 KM coins minted in 2006 will be available on the website of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This announcement will be published in the "Official Gazette of BiH", "Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH", "Official Gazette of the Republika Srpska", and "Official Gazette of the Brčko District of BiH".
