CSSF Regulation No 20-02 on the equivalence of certain third countries for investment services by third-country firms

The CSSF issued Regulation No 20-02 to establish equivalence decisions for specific third countries regarding supervision and authorization rules for investment services. This consolidated version incorporates amendments from Regulations No 20-09 and No 22-04 to update the regulatory framework for third-country firms providing services in Luxembourg. The regulation defines the conditions under which third-country firms are deemed equivalent to EU standards for the purpose of providing investment services or performing investment activities.
