Announcement on the Issuance of Additional 1 Convertible Mark and 20 Fening Coins Minted in 2009
The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina issues an announcement regarding the circulation of additional 1 Convertible Mark and 20 Fening coins minted in 2009. These coins, bearing the numerical mark '2009' on their reverse, are declared legal tender effective December 14, 2009, and retain the technical characteristics established by previous regulations. The announcement is published in official gazettes and made available on the Central Bank's website.

ANNOUNCEMENT on the issuance of additional minted coins in denominations of 1 Convertible Mark and 20 Fening, minted in 2009, No. 101-1783/09 dated 07.12.2009
In accordance with the Decision No. 100-UV 374/09 dated 26 March 2009, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina has executed the minting of additional quantities of coins in denominations of 1 Convertible Mark (hereinafter: KM) and 20 Fening.
This coinage has the basic features and technical characteristics established as follows:

for 1 Convertible Mark, by the Decision on issuance, basic features and putting into circulation of coins of 1 and 2 Convertible Marks, ("Official Gazette of BiH", 20/00 and 11/02), Decision No. 140/05 dated 31 October 2005, Decision No. 141/05 dated 31 October 2005, Decision No. 215/06 dated 26 July 2006, Decision No. 283/07 dated 31 July 2007 and Decision No. 311/08 dated 27 February 2008,

for 20 Fening, by the Decision on issuance, basic features and putting into circulation of coins of 10, 20 and 50 Fening, ("Official Gazette of BiH", 24/98 and 25/98), Decision No. 11/03 dated 29 October 2003, Decision No. 216/06 dated 26 September 2006 and Decision No. 223/06 dated 27 October 2006, with the provision that on the reverse of the coins in denominations of 1 KM and 20 Fening, the numerical mark "2009" is located, as the year of minting additional quantities of these denominations.
Starting from 14 December 2009, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, through the central office, main units and branches, will put the aforementioned coins into circulation as legal tender in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The notice on the issuance of coins in denominations of 1 KM and 20 Fening, additionally minted in 2009, will be available on the website of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This announcement will be published in the "Official Gazette of BiH", "Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH", "Official Gazette of the Republic of Srpska" and "Official Gazette of the Brčko District of BiH".
