Decision No. 89/MFB/2008/Mi on the Appointment of Mr. RAKOTOARISON Thierry as Member of the Banking and Financial Supervision Commission
The Minister of Finances and Budget issued Decision No. 89/MFB/2008/Mi to appoint Mr. RAKOTOARISON Thierry as a representative member of the Banking and Financial Supervision Commission. This appointment grants him formal supervisory authority over credit institutions and financial entities on behalf of the Ministry. The Central Bank Governor is mandated to enforce this appointment, which automatically supersedes any prior conflicting decisions regarding his commission membership.

DECISION NO. 89/MFB/2008/Mi on the appointment of Mr. RAKOTOARISON Thierry as Member of the Banking and Financial Supervision Commission
THE MINISTER OF FINANCES AND BUDGET,
- Having regard to the Constitution;
- Having regard to Law No. 95-030 of February 22, 1996 on the activity and supervision of Credit Institutions;
- Having regard to Decree No. 2007-022 of January 20, 2007 on the appointment of the Prime Minister, Head of Government;
- Having regard to Decree No. 2008-427 of April 30, 2008 amended and supplemented by Decrees No. 2008-596 of June 23, 2008 and No. 2008-766 of July 25, 2008 on the appointment of members of the Government;
- Having regard to Decree No. 2007-185 of February 27, 2007 amended by Decree No. 2007-633 of July 10, 2007 defining the powers of the Minister of Finances and Budget as well as the general organization of his Ministry; DECIDES: Article 1: Mr. RAKOTOARISON Thierry is appointed as Member of the Banking and Financial Supervision Commission, representing the Ministry of Finances and Budget. Article 2: Any decision contrary to this Decision remains repealed. Article 3: The Governor of the Central Bank is charged with the execution of this Decision.
