Collective Investment Schemes (Unsolicited Calls) Regulations 1998

The Minister of Finance has enacted regulations specifying the conditions under which unsolicited calls regarding collective investment schemes are legally permissible. The rules authorize these calls to business investors meeting defined asset thresholds, including companies, partnerships, registered organizations, pension funds, and public authorities. Furthermore, the regulations explicitly permit calls between investment professionals, close relatives, and associated parties such as co-trustees or co-directors.
