Belize Companies Act, 2022 (Commencement) (No.2) Order, 2022
Prime Minister and Minister of Finance John Briceño issued Statutory Instrument No. 151 of 2022 to activate remaining provisions of the Belize Companies Act, 2022. This Order appoints November 28, 2022, as the effective date for sections of the Act not previously commenced by the 2022 (Commencement) Order. The directive was made on November 22, 2022, exercising powers conferred by section 317 of the principal Act.
No. 151] Belize Companies 1 Citation. BELIZE: STATUTORY INSTRUMENT No. 151 of 2022 ORDER made in exercise of the powers conferred upon the Minister responsible for finance, by section 317 of the Belize Companies Act, 2022 (Act No. 11 of 2022), and all other powers thereunto him enabling.
- This Order may be cited as the BELIZE COMPANIES ACT, 2022 (COMMENCEMENT) (NO. 2) ORDER, 2022.
- In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 317 of the Belize Companies Act (Act No. 11 of 2022), and all other powers thereunto me enabling, I, JOHN BRICEÑO, Prime Minister and Minister responsible for finance, hereby appoint the 28th day of November, 2022, as the day on which the provisions of the Belize Companies Act not brought into force by the Belize Companies Act, 2022 (Commencement) Order, 2022, shall come into force.
