The Bank of Zambia has issued Circular No. 29/2023 to establish subsidiary legislation governing the Export Proceeds Tracking Framework Directives. These directives require commercial banks to systematically monitor and report export proceeds in compliance with the Bank of Zambia Act of 2022. Heads of commercial banks must submit their comments on the draft framework via email by November 10, 2023.

Reference is made to the above subject.
Further to CB Circular No. 28/2023 dated October 17, 2023, the Bank has drafted the attached subsidiary legislation to govern the Export Proceeds Tracking Framework in the form of Directives. This is in line with the Bank of Zambia Act, 2022.
