Regulation on the Platform for Comparison of Financial Products and Services
The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo issued this regulation to establish a centralized web platform for comparing interest rates and fees across licensed financial institutions. It mandates participating banks, microfinance entities, and insurers to electronically report standardized product data and keep it updated in alignment with their official price lists. The Central Bank administers the platform to ensure transparency and consumer protection, granting platform-published rates prevailing status in case of discrepancies while allowing a three-month adaptation period for institutional compliance.
