Ease of Doing Business – Relaxation in certification requirement for Persons Associated with Research Services (PARS) – Sales and other non-core services
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has introduced a lighter NISM certification module for Persons Associated with Research Services (PARS) who perform sales and other non-core services. These staff members must now pass the NISM Series-XXV-A examination instead of the standard NISM Series-XV Research Analyst Certification Examination. PARS holding valid NISM Series-XV certification are exempt from this new requirement until their current certification expires.
