ESMA Guidelines on Standardised Forms, Templates and Formats for DLT Market Infrastructure Authorisation Applications

The French Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) confirms its compliance with European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) guidelines regarding the standardised forms, formats, and templates required for applications to operate a Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) market infrastructure. These guidelines apply to competent authorities under Regulation (EU) 2022/858 and to applicants seeking specific authorisations to operate DLT market infrastructures. Consequently, the document is relevant to legal persons subject to Articles L. 421-10 and L. 441-1 of the French Monetary and Financial Code.

Download Viewed Version Summary The Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) complies with the guidelines of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) concerning the standardised forms, formats and templates to be used for applications for authorisation to operate a DLT market infrastructure. These guidelines are intended for competent authorities, within the meaning of Article 2(21) of Regulation (EU) 2022/858, as well as for applicants for specific authorisations to operate DLT market infrastructures, within the meaning of Article 2(5) of Regulation (EU) 2022/858. They therefore concern the legal persons referred to in Articles L. 421-10, II and L. 441-1, IV of the Monetary and Financial Code.
