Decision Amending the Decision on Macroprudential Measures Related to Retail Loans Granted by Credit Institutions

The Council of the Central Bank of Montenegro issued this decision on 28 December 2023 to amend existing macroprudential measures for retail loans. The amendment modifies point 8 of the original decision by extending a specific regulatory timeframe from two years to three years. The decision enters into force on the day following its publication in the Official Gazette of Montenegro.

Pursuant to Article 44 paragraph 2 point 10 of the Central Bank of Montenegro Law (OGM 40/10, 46/10, 06/13 and 70/17), at its meeting held on 28 December 2023, the Council of the Central Bank of Montenegro passed the following DECISION AMENDING THE DECISION ON MACROPRUDENTIAL MEASURES RELATED TO RETAIL LOANS GRANTED BY CREDIT INSTITUTIONS

  1. In the Decision on Macroprudential Measures Related to Retail Loans Granted by Credit Institutions (OGM 138/21 and 144/22), in point 8, the words: “for two years” shall be replaced with the words “for three years”.
