Scope of the Regulation on Credit Rating Agencies

The AMF issues position DOC-2013-14 to apply ESMA's orientations and recommendations regarding the scope of the Credit Rating Agencies Regulation. This position clarifies the registration of agencies and exemptions, the scope of private credit rating, and cooperation modalities during inspections or investigations. It serves as the AMF's implementation of ESMA/2013/720 effective October 8, 2013.
