Residents holding accounts with balances or annual transactions exceeding Afl. 1,500,000 must formally notify the Central Bank and submit mandatory balance of payments reports. Effective June 15, 2026, this decree supersedes the prior 2023 license and empowers the Central Bank to implement protective measures if national foreign exchange reserves face significant strain.
