Declaration of Compliance with EBA/GL/2023/05 on Resolution Planning Tests

The Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (ACPR) declares its intention to comply with EBA/GL/2023/05, which amends resolution planning guidelines to introduce a new section on resolution testing. The updated guidelines require financial institutions to produce a self-assessment report accompanied by a general procedures manual and recommend that resolution authorities publish a resolution testing program. These measures apply to financial institutions and competent authorities as defined in Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010.

DECLARATION

Declaration of Compliance with the Guidelines amending EBA/GL/2022/01 on improving resolvability for institutions and resolution authorities pursuant to Articles 15 and 16 of Directive 2014/59/EU (Resolution Guidelines) to introduce a new section on resolution testing (EBA/GL/2023/05)

The Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority declares its intention to comply with the Guidelines amending EBA/GL/2022/01 on improving resolvability for institutions and resolution authorities pursuant to Articles 15 and 16 of Directive 2014/59/EU (Resolution Guidelines) to introduce a new section on resolution testing.

The main purpose of these amending guidelines is to invite the relevant banking institutions to produce a self-assessment report, completed by a general procedures manual. They also recommend that resolution authorities communicate a resolution testing program.

These amending guidelines apply to financial institutions within the meaning of Article 4(1) of Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010 and to competent authorities within the meaning of Article 4(2) of Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010.
