CL-2024-033: Lost Bangko Sentral Registration Documents (BSRDs)
The Office of the Managing Director of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas issued a circular letter to all authorized agent banks and subsidiary foreign exchange corporations regarding lost registration documents. The notice identifies specific BSRDs covering foreign direct investments by Kubota Corporation and Marubeni Corporation in Kubota Philippines, Inc. as reported lost. Banks are instructed not to honor these documents if found and presented for foreign exchange transactions, as replacement applications have been filed.
