(A Rural Bank), Rural Bank of Maddela (Quirino), Inc., and Rural Bank of San Jacinto (Masbate), Inc. to be known as Agribusiness Banking Corporation – A Rural Bank doing business under the name and style of Agribank The Monetary Board, in its Resolution No. 88 dated 23 January 2025, approved the consolidation of Agribusiness Rural Bank, Inc. (AGRIB), Banco Alabang, Inc. (A Rural Bank) (BAIRB), Rural Bank of Maddela (Quirino), Inc. (MDELA), and Rural Bank of San Jacinto (Masbate), Inc. (SJCNT), to form a new rural bank to be known as Agribusiness Banking Corporation – A Rural Bank doing business under the name and style of Agribank. The Agribusiness Banking Corporation – A Rural Bank doing business under the name and style of Agribank was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on 14 February 2025. The corresponding Certificate of Authority to Operate as a Rural Bank was issued by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas on 30 May 2025. The Bank started its operations on 16 June 2025.
