The Governing Board of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a decision on November 18-19, 1998, to establish a branch in Banja Luka as an organizational unit under the Main Bank of the Republika Srpska. Pursuant to Article 1, paragraph 3, Article 7, point i, and Article 74, point i, of the Law on the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina ("Official Gazette of BiH", No. 1/97) and Article 28 of the Regulation of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, UV No.: 5/98 dated February 27, 1998, the Governing Board of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at its 15th session held on November 18 and 19, 1998, adopted the
D E C I S I O N on the Establishment of the Branch of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Banja Luka
Article 1. The Branch of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Banja Luka is established as an organizational unit of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (hereinafter: the Branch and the Central Bank) under the jurisdiction of the Main Bank of the Republika Srpska of the Central Bank of BiH.
Article 2. The full name of the Branch is:
Article 3. The seat of the Branch is in Banja Luka, Marije Bursać Street No. 4.
Article 4. The Branch does not have legal status or powers independent of the Central Bank. The Branch executes its obligations and tasks prescribed by the Law on the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (hereinafter: the Law on the Central Bank) under the jurisdiction of the Main Bank of the Republika Srpska of the Central Bank of BiH, in accordance with decisions of the Governing Board and the Governor, in compliance with the Law on the Central Bank.
Article 5. The Branch executes its obligations and tasks from Article 4 of this Decision in the part of the Republika Srpska according to the agreement between the Main Bank of the Republika Srpska of the Central Bank of BiH and the Branch, with the approval of the Governor of the Central Bank.
Article 6. The Branch has a seal which is produced by the Central Office of the Central Bank, in accordance with the decision.
Article 7. The organization and systematization of job positions, as well as the scope of work of the Branch, shall be prescribed by the general act on the organization of the Central Bank and the general act on the systematization of job positions of the Central Bank.
Article 8. The Governor appoints the head and officials of the Branch in accordance with the general act on the organization of the Central Bank and the general act on the systematization of job positions of the Central Bank, based on the general conditions for employment of officials of the Central Bank determined by the Governing Board.
Article 9. The Branch begins operations based on the decision of the Governor with the consent of the Governing Board.
Article 10. This Decision shall be published in the "Official Gazette of BiH", the "Official Gazette of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina", and the "Official Gazette of the Republika Srpska" and shall enter into force on the day of publication.
