C9/2015: Proposed amended Regulations relating to Banks
The Office of the Registrar of Banks issued Circular 9/2015 to inform regulated entities of a postponement in the implementation date for the proposed amended Regulations relating to Banks. The regulator delayed the effective date from 1 January 2016 to 1 April 2016 due to unforeseen circumstances following the review of stakeholder comments and industry training sessions. Recipients are required to return a signed acknowledgement of receipt, completed by both the chief executive officer and independent auditors, to the Office of the Registrar of Banks.
