DFSA Consultation Paper No. 154 – Proposed Changes to the Audit Regime
The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) has released Consultation Paper No. 154 to propose comprehensive updates to its audit regime, including revised auditor appointment procedures and enhanced reporting standards. Regulated entities must evaluate these proposed changes against current compliance obligations and submit written feedback by 1 March 2024. The finalized amendments will subsequently govern audit practices across the Dubai International Financial Centre to strengthen regulatory oversight and market transparency.
