The Palestine Monetary Authority issued Circular No. 111 to mandate all operating banks in Palestine to report quarterly data on active customer facilities to the Credit Information Office. The directive requires banks to submit counts of direct and indirect facilities, including non-performing loans and issued credit cards, within five working days of each reporting period beginning December 1, 2008. For the purposes of utilizing the Credit Information Office, we request all banks to provide us with the number of active granted facilities files for customers (direct and indirect), including non-performing facilities, on a quarterly basis starting from December 1, 2008. The number of issued credit cards shall be considered part of the indirect facilities count.
Please ensure to submit the response to this circular to the Palestine Monetary Authority within the first five working days from the beginning of the reporting period, according to the following table:
