Finansinspektionen mandates that insurance undertakings and mutual benefit societies use the Riksbank's EUR exchange rate from the final business day in October for insurance-related calculations. The regulations specify that this rate must be applied as of 31 December 2011. Furthermore, the document establishes that as of 31 December 2012, one EUR corresponds to 8.62 SEK.
