Order approving amendments to securities regulations to reduce regulatory burden for investment fund issuers
The Minister of Finance approved regulations drafted by the Autorité des marchés financiers to amend five securities rules, including Regulation 41-101 and Regulations 81-101 through 81-107. These amendments implement Workstreams 1 and 2 of the Reducing Regulatory Burden for Investment Fund Issuers initiative by standardizing disclosure requirements and replacing references to general websites with designated websites. The changes streamline prospectus filing processes for mutual funds and ETFs while removing redundant definitions and annual information form references.
