CVM Deliberation No. 848 of March 25, 2020
The Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) issued Deliberation No. 848 to suspend regulatory deadlines and administrative sanction proceedings during the state of calamity declared due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The measure extends the validity of installment plans, delays the issuance of tax launch notifications, and postpones the submission of audited financial statements for investment funds and securitization certificates. Additionally, it doubles or extends specific deadlines across numerous CVM Instructions and extends the vacancy period for the implementation of CVM Instruction No. 617 until October 1, 2020.
