The OCC, Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, FDIC, and NCUA are adopting final changes to the Uniform Rules of Practice and Procedure to recognize electronic communications in administrative hearings and improve adjudication efficiency. The OCC is consolidating its uniform and local rules for national banks and Federal savings associations, removing obsolete references to the abolished Office of Thrift Supervision, and updating service of process regulations. These amendments become effective on April 1, 2024, and apply to adjudicatory proceedings initiated on or after that date.
