The Australian Securities and Investments Commission issued Regulatory Guide 161 to guide companies, responsible entities, and intermediaries operating share and interest sale facilities. The document explains the relief available under ASIC Corporations (Share and Interest Sale Facilities) Instrument 2018/99 and outlines the regulator's approach for facilities not covered by that instrument. It also notes that applications for relief must be submitted through the ASIC Regulatory Portal from 27 July 2020.
