Circular No. 01/EFI/2022 of 24 March - Information on Credit and Deposit Statistics
The Bank of Mozambique's Financial Stability Department issued Circular No. 01/EFI/2022 to mandate all credit institutions to submit district-level statistical data on bank credit and deposits via the Bank Supervision Application (BSA) by the 15th of each following month. This requirement replaces previous reporting formats and establishes a standardized mechanism to calculate financial inclusion indicators and indices at the district level. The circular takes effect upon signing and directs any implementation queries to the Bank's Financial Inclusion Office.
