The U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control issued General License 131E to authorize certain transactions for negotiating and entering contingent contracts for the sale of Lukoil International GmbH. This license also permits related maintenance activities associated with the transaction. Additionally, OFAC released amended Frequently Asked Questions 1224 and 1225 to provide further guidance on Russia-related sanctions.
