The U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) issued General Licenses 5X, 24A, and 59 to authorize specific transactions involving Venezuelan entities. General License 5X permits certain transactions related to Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A. bonds on or after August 4, 2026, while General License 24A authorizes telecommunications and mail transactions involving the Government of Venezuela. Additionally, General License 59 authorizes the supply of certain items and services involving Conviasa, and OFAC amended Frequently Asked Question 595 to provide further guidance.

(Conviasa)." Additionally, OFAC is amending one Venezuela-related Frequently Asked Question, FAQ 595 .
