Notice Relating to Filing of Interim Returns for Quebec Damage Insurers – Half Year Ending April 30, 2015
The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) requires Quebec-licensed damage insurers with an October 31 year-end to electronically file signed interim returns, Excel data files, and compliance attestations for the half year ending April 30, 2015. Submissions must be processed through the File Transfer Service by June 14, 2015, with complete paper copies retained at the insurer’s premises for potential examination. Failure to submit these documents within the prescribed timeframe subjects insurers to administrative monetary sanctions under section 405.1 of Quebec’s Insurance Act.
