The Louisiana Office of Financial Institutions approved the merger of First Trust Corporation into BancPlus Corporation, resulting in the establishment of BankPlus domiciled in Mississippi. The regulator also authorized Red River Bank to open a new banking center in Lafayette and approved the closure of Lakeside Bank's Westlake branch. Additionally, several institutions received no-objection status or filed applications to establish or close loan and deposit production offices in Arkansas, Kentucky, West Virginia, Texas, and Louisiana.
