Bank Holiday Letter 2025

The Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities issued this letter to provide state-chartered banking and trust institutions with the official list of 2025 legal bank holidays. The document distinguishes between fixed holidays, which must be observed, and optional holidays, which institutions may choose to recognize. It further clarifies that while fixed holidays falling on weekends shift to Monday, Flag Day on June 14, 2025, remains a Saturday observation with no alternate day provision.
