Notice of Local Publication: Regulation to Amend Regulation 81-102 Respecting Investment Funds Pertaining to Crypto Assets
The Autorité des marchés financiers has adopted amendments to Regulation 81-102 to establish a regulatory framework for public crypto asset investment funds in Quebec. The changes restrict direct crypto investments to alternative mutual funds and non-redeemable funds, mandate offline custody for crypto assets, and require annual assurance reports from custodians.
