Regulation to amend Regulation 41-101 respecting General Prospectus Requirements
The regulator amends Regulation 41-101 respecting General Prospectus Requirements to update references from the legacy System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval (SEDAR) to the new System for Electronic Data Analysis and Retrieval + (SEDAR+). These amendments modify specific forms, including 41-101F1, 41-101F2, and 41-101F3, by replacing old URLs and acronyms with their SEDAR+ equivalents. The regulation generally comes into force on June 9, 2023, with a specific provision for Saskatchewan allowing delayed entry upon filing with the Registrar of Regulations.
REGULATION TO AMEND REGULATION 41-101 RESPECTING GENERAL PROSPECTUS REQUIREMENTS Securities Act (chapter V-1.1, s. 331.1, par. (1), (2) and (34))
- Regulation 41-101 respecting General Prospectus Requirements (chapter V-1.1, r. 14) is amended by replacing “System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval (SEDAR)”, in Schedule 1 of Appendix A and under the title “General Instructions”, by “System for Electronic Data Analysis and Retrieval + (SEDAR+)”.
- Form 41-101F1 of the Regulation is amended, in item 36A.1: (1) by replacing “www.sedar.com”, in subparagraph (ii) of subparagraph (b) of paragraph (3), by “www.sedarplus.com”; (2) by replacing “SEDAR”, in paragraph (5), by “SEDAR+”.
- Form 41-101F2 of the Regulation is amended by replacing “www.sedar.com”, in item 37.1, by “www.sedarplus.com”.
- Form 41-101F3 of the Regulation is amended by replacing “www.sedar.com”, in paragraph (1) of item 4.1 and paragraph (2) of item 15.1 of Part B, by “www.sedarplus.com”.
- Effective Date (1) This Regulation comes into force on 9 June 2023. (2) In Saskatchewan, despite paragraph (1), if this Regulation is filed with the Registrar of Regulations after 9 June 2023, this Regulation comes into force on the day on which it is filed with the Registrar of Regulations.
