The Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) issued FAQ 1258 and updated the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List. OFAC added six individuals, including Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel, and five entities, such as the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba, to the SDN List under Executive Order 14404. These designations target actors responsible for subversive anti-American activities and impose asset freezes and transaction prohibitions on the listed parties.
