Extension of Comment Period for Enhanced Transparency and Public Accountability of Supervisory Stress Test Models

The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System is extending the public comment period for its proposed rulemaking regarding supervisory stress test models and transparency enhancements. The deadline for submitting comments on the proposal, originally set for January 22, 2026, is moved to February 21, 2026, to allow stakeholders additional time to review the changes. This extension applies to the notice published on November 18, 2025, which sought feedback on model modifications for the 2026 stress test and regulatory adjustments to capital planning and prudential standards.
