Notice Relating to Filing of Interim Returns and Other Documents for the Half Year Ending April 30, 2015
The Autorité des marchés financiers requires Quebec insurers with an October 31 year-end to electronically file interim returns and supporting documents for the half year ending April 30, 2015. Submissions must be completed via the File Transfer Service by June 14, 2015, adhering to specified file naming conventions and retaining signed paper copies at the insurer’s premises. Failure to submit the required documents within the prescribed timeframe may trigger administrative monetary sanctions under section 405.1 of Quebec’s Insurance Act.
