Amending Decision No. (144) of 2018 regarding the collection of a service fee of one in a thousand for reviewing and approving new insurance document forms or amending existing forms

Having reviewed Law No. 10 of 1981 issuing the Law on Supervision and Control of Insurance in Egypt and its executive regulations and amendments,

and Law No. (10) of 2009 concerning the regulation of supervision over non-Egyptian markets and financial instruments,

and Presidential Decree No. (197) of 2009 issuing the Basic Statute of the Financial Regulatory Authority,

and Board Decision No. (23) of 2014 concerning the rules governing the practice of insurance brokerage activity within the Arab Republic of Egypt and its amendments,

and Board Decision No. (144) of 2018 concerning the collection of a service fee of one in a thousand for reviewing and approving new insurance document forms or amending existing forms,

and the approval of the Board of Directors in its session held on 30/9/2018.

Has Decided

(Article One)

The following text replaces the second paragraph of Article Two of the aforementioned Board Decision:

"This Decision shall be published in the Egyptian Gazette and on the Authority's website, and shall take effect as of 1/1/2019"

(Article Two)

This Decision shall be published in the Egyptian Gazette and on the Authority's website, and shall take effect as of the day following its publication in the Egyptian Gazette.
