Summary of Amendments to the Guidelines on the Registration of Bond Pricing Agencies
The Securities Commission Malaysia issued revised Guidelines on the Registration of Bond Pricing Agencies on 19 December 2022 to align with the rollout of the Electronic Application System (EASy). The amendments reposition Chapter 3 to Chapter 4 and update submission procedures to facilitate online form submissions for greater operational efficiency. Additionally, the regulator implemented housekeeping changes, including replacing 'key personnel' with 'senior management' and standardizing terminology to ensure clarity and consistency.
