Regulation to Amend Regulation 14-101 Respecting Definitions
The Quebec securities regulator amended Regulation 14-101 respecting Definitions to update specific terminology under the Securities Act. The changes replace the definition of Canadian financial institution with a detailed list of authorized Canadian banking, insurance, and credit entities, and redefine the Handbook to refer to the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada Handbooks for Accounting and Assurance. These amendments officially came into force on September 13, 2023.
