1 REGULATION OF BANK INDONESIA NUMBER : 11/17/PBI/2009 CONCERNING REVISION ON REGULATION OF BANK INDONESIA NUMBER 2/22/PBI/2000 CONCERNING THE EXTERNAL DEBT REPORTING OBLIGATION IN THE MERCY OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD GOVERNOR OF BANK INDONESIA, Considering : a. whereas, the quality of data and information obtained from the external debt reporting activity by the Banks, Non￾Bank Institutions and individuals must be improved in order to compile the external debt and balance of payment statistics. b. whereas, in order to improve the readiness of Banks, Non-Bank Institutions and individuals in complying with the provisions on external debt reporting obligation, Bank Indonesia consider that it is necessary to reschedule the

2 imposition of administrative penalty on the external debt reporting obligation. c. whereas, based on the consideration as stipulated in point a and point b, it is considered necessary to revise the Regulation of Bank Indonesia specifying the external debt reporting obligation. In view of : 1. Act Number 23 of 1999 concerning Bank Indonesia (State Gazette of Republic of Indonesia of 1999 Number 66, Addendum to State Gazette Number 3843), as having been revised, lastly with the Act Number 6 of 2009 concerning the Establishment of Government Regulation in lieu of Law Number 2 of 2008 concerning the Second Revision to Act Number 23 of 1999 concerning Bank Indonesia Into Act (State Gazette of Republic of Indonesia of 2009 Number 7, Addendum to State Gazette of Republic of Indonesia Number 4962); 2. Act Number 24 of 1999 concerning the Foreign Exchange Traffic and Exchange Rate

3 System (State Gazette of Republic of Indonesia of 1999 Number 67, Addendum to State Gazette Number 3844); DECIDED To stipulate : REGULATION OF BANK INDONESIA ON THE REVISION TO REGULATION OF BANK INDONESIA NUMBER 2/22/PBI/2000 ON THE EXTERNAL DEBT REPORTING OBLIGATION. Article I Provision in the Regulation of Bank Indonesia Number 2/22/PBI/20OO dated October 2, 2000 concerning the External Debt Reporting Obligation (State Gazette of Republic of Indonesia of 2000 Number 172, Addendum to State Gazette of Republic of Indonesia Number 4007, shall be revised, namely: Article 9A Provision as stipulated in Article 7 of this Regulation of Bank Indonesia and its execution regulation specifying the penalty shall not be enforced as of April 1, 2005 to December 31, 2010.

4 Article II This Regulation of Bank Indonesia shall be effective retrospectively as of April 1, 2005. In order to be known by every party, enforcement of this Regulation of Bank Indonesia shall be instructed by publicizing it in the State Gazette of Republic of Indonesia.
