Draft Regulation to amend Regulation 14-101 respecting Definitions
The securities regulator amends Regulation 14-101 respecting Definitions to insert a new definition for the term designated website. This addition clarifies that the designated website of an investment fund is the site designated by the fund under subsection 16.1.2(1) of Regulation 81-106 respecting Investment Fund Continuous Disclosure. The amendment aims to reduce regulatory burden for investment fund issuers and comes into force on a date to be indicated.
REGULATION TO AMEND REGULATION 14-101 RESPECTING DEFINITIONS Securities Act (chapter V-1.1, s. 331.1, par. (34))
- Section 1.1 of Regulation 14-101 respecting Definitions (chapter V-1.1, r. 3) is amended by inserting, in paragraph (3) and after the definition of the expression “dealer registration requirement”, the following: ““designated website” of an investment fund means a website designated by the fund under subsection 16.1.2(1) of Regulation 81-106 respecting Investment Fund Continuous Disclosure (c. V-1.1, r. 42);”.
