Regulations Repealing FFFS 2005:9 on Investment Recommendations and Conflict of Interest Management
Finansinspektionen has repealed its previous regulations and general guidelines (FFFS 2005:9) governing investment recommendations directed to the general public and the management of conflicts of interest. The repeal officially takes effect on 1 February 2017, removing the prior regulatory framework for these financial advisory activities. This legislative update was formally decided on 21 December 2016 and published in the regulator's official gazette as FFFS 2016:34.
