Regulation for Welfare
The Yangon Central Bank has issued this regulation to establish and govern a comprehensive Welfare Fund for its permanent, temporary, and contract employees. The framework mandates regular salary-based contributions and government subsidies to finance medical, educational, housing, and emergency allowances for eligible staff and their dependents. A designated Welfare Committee, comprising a chairman and appointed members, is responsible for fund management, auditing, disbursing benefits according to standardized rates, and resolving administrative matters.
