Subject: Cabinet Decision No. (4) of 2021 Regarding the Minimum Wage
With reference to the approved Cabinet Decision No. (4) of 2021 regarding the minimum wage, we emphasize the necessity for payment service companies to comply with the provisions of the attached decision in accordance with regulations, based on the principle that the monthly salary shall not be less than 1,880 Shekels.

Cabinet Decision No. (4) of 2021
Regarding the Minimum Wage in Palestine
The Cabinet,
Based on the provisions of the Amended Basic Law of 2003 and its amendments,
The provisions of Labor Law No. (7) of 2000,
After reviewing Cabinet Decision No. (46) of 2004 establishing the Wage Committee,
After reviewing Cabinet Decision No. (14/21/01) M/S.F) of 2012,
And on the decision of the National Wage Committee dated 2021/03/28,
Based on the proposal of the Minister of Labor / Chairman of the National Wage Committee,
And on the powers delegated to us,
And in pursuit of the public interest,
The Cabinet decided in its meeting held on 2021/08/23 the following:
Article (1)
Adoption of the minimum wage in all areas of the State of Palestine as follows:
- The minimum monthly wage in all areas of the State of Palestine and in all sectors shall be an amount of 1,880 (one thousand eight hundred and eighty) Shekels per month.
- The minimum wage for casual workers, specifically those working on an irregular daily basis, as well as seasonal workers, shall be an amount of 85 (eighty-five) Shekels per day.
- The minimum wage for one hour of work for workers covered by the provisions of paragraph (2) of this Article shall be an amount of 10.5 (ten and a half) Shekels.
Article (2)
What is agreed upon in the tripartite committees established pursuant to the National Wage Committee's decision shall be considered part of this decision, after its approval by the Cabinet.
Article (3)
All provisions conflicting with the articles of this decision are hereby repealed.

Article (4)
All competent authorities shall, each within their respective jurisdiction, implement the provisions of this decision, which shall take effect at the beginning of the year 2022,
And shall be published in the Official Gazette.
