The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System issued this final rule to implement technical amendments to Regulation D that conform specific provisions to prior regulatory changes. The amendments correct outdated cross-references in footnote 6 of section 204.2 and update the heading and introductory text of section 204.125 to reflect redesignated section numbers and definitions finalized in 1987, 1991, and 2020. These changes are purely technical and do not alter the substantive requirements or reserve ratios for depository institutions.
