CSA Multilateral Staff Notice 58-317: Review of Disclosure Regarding Women on Boards and in Executive Officer Positions - Year 10 Report
The Canadian Securities Administrators issued this tenth annual review analyzing public disclosure by TSX-listed issuers regarding the representation of women on boards and in executive officer positions. The report highlights that 29% of board seats were held by women, 72% of issuers had at least one woman in an executive officer role, and 64% adopted policies relating to women's board representation. It further notes that issuers adopting diversity targets or term limits demonstrated higher proportions of women on their boards and identifies significant industry variations in these metrics.
